Townsend/Walland Events

Just as there are four seasons in the year, there are also four seasons full of special events and seasonal festivals that showcase the natural and cultural heritage of Townsend and the Smoky Mountains, better known as, "The Peaceful Side of the Smokies".

The three major events held in Townsend annually are the Spring Festival, Old Timers Day, and the Fall Heritage Festival.   All events celebrate the history and heritage of Townsend and the Great Smoky Mountains.
